  • Our gift boxes are wrapped with hand-painted, recyclable wrapping paper, Washi tape, and a twine ribbon. The gift box is then nestled safely inside a recyclable shipping box (from earth-friendly EcoBox in Austin, TX) and secured with natural pack before getting a shipping label and making its way to UPS/USPS.

    If you’re purchasing items for yourself, there is an option at checkout that allows for no gift wrap.

  • We ship to all 50 US states! If shipping outside of the contiguous states to Hawaii or Alaska, a small fee will be added.

    We’re currently working on figuring out the best methods to ship to Canada and overseas.

  • While we wish this was an option for our customers, we’ve bootstrapped this company with our own savings and can’t yet offer free shipping. We're always striving to keep shipping costs low, but per-box shipping is an additional cost. We promise to keep you updated if this changes.

  • In our case, the warehouse is our home! We do our best to get orders out ASAP (the very next business day).

    Orders placed Monday - Friday before 8 pm central go out on the next business day.

    Orders placed on weekends or after 8 pm central on weekdays go out the following business day.

    Examples:
    If you order at 7 pm on Tuesday, we’ll ship Wednesday.
    If you order at 1 am on Friday, we’ll ship Monday morning.
    If you order at 6 pm on Saturday, we’ll ship Monday morning.
    If you order at 8:30 pm on Wednesday, we’ll probably get it out on Thursday, but it might go out Friday morning.

  • Select UPS Ground for 3-5 day shipping (business days only).
    Select USPS Priority for 2-3 day shipping (business days only).
    Select USPS Priority for Alaska or Hawaii. 3-day shipping (business days only).

    We no longer offer local delivery—sorry!

    The times listed on our checkout page are taken directly from the UPS/USPS websites and are estimates. Please email us at hello@willinglee.co with any questions.

    We cannot be held responsible for weather delays, delays due to pandemic closures, or any other conditions outside of our control. We are a small, bootstrapped company that relies on these 3rd-party services to get your packages to where they need to go. When they don’t arrive on time, we’re just as bummed as you are, but cannot cover your shipping charge as it falls outside of our 3rd-party refund policies. We’re all doing our best—thank you for understanding!

  • We used to deliver locally in Austin, TX. Unfortunately we recently made the decision to remove this option. Both of us work full time jobs, and now with the arrival of our baby girl we realized local delivery was tough to fit in to our hectic schedules. When we’re able to bring it back, we promise to let you know!

    We’re usually available M-F 9 am to 3 pm for pickups, but be sure to communicate in your email when you’d like to pick up.

  • Notecards are not automatically included in Willinglee gifts, but you are more than welcome to add a card to your box (we highly recommend it!).

    Choose a card for any occasion. When you add it to your cart, a form will appear. Fill out the form to let us know what we should handwrite inside. That’s right! We’ll handwrite your gift card (up to 300 characters), word-for-word. Don’t forget to sign your name as you’d like us to sign it!

    If you’re shipping to yourself and gifting in person, we can send you the card blank, too. That way, you can customize it yourself—inside jokes, silly drawings, and all!

  • If you choose not to include a greeting card with your gift, we use a 3” x 2” sticker to write your note to the recipient. Long story short, we can only write so tiny, and the gift looks best when your message is 150 characters or less.

    If you write a message longer than 150 characters, we will shorten it to fit on the package. (Hint: add that greeting card if you need to write something longer!!!)

  • Never! Because we know your Willinglee shipment is almost always a gift, we never include pricing information, receipts, or invoices in our shipped packages. You will get an email with your order information and receipt.

  • When adding a curated box to your cart, a form will appear asking who we should make the gift tag out to. If you’re shipping directly to a recipient/recipients, their name(s) will be displayed on their gift.

    If you’re building your own box(es), it’s best to check out separately for each recipient. That way we’ll know what to include in each box!

  • We believe the gift-giving experience is sacred and should be shared between giver and recipient. We want this to look like it came from you—because it did. We wrap each gift in recyclable, hand-painted paper (because regular wrapping paper isn’t great for Mother Earth) and tie it up with twine. Who doesn’t love tearing open a wrapped gift? The physical box your gifts are packed in is a simple cardboard mailer. “Keepsake” boxes are out, recyclable boxes are in!

  • For address changes, send an email to hello@willinglee.co immediately with your order number and the changes needed. If it is something we can do and the order is not yet processed or shipped, we will accommodate as best we can.

    If the order has shipped, we suggest you reach out to the shipping carrier with your tracking number as they will be the best bet in re-directing a package. Please note we cannot be held responsible for errors when customers have input an incorrect shipping address.

  • All sales are final (but don’t worry, they’ll love it!). We don't accept returns, exchanges, or cancellations. If something arrives damaged or doesn’t feel quite right, reach out to us and we’ll make it right.

  • Sure can! Event orders start at a 5-box minimum. Corporate orders start at a 15-box minimum. Head to our Custom & Corporate Gifts page for more details and to get in touch.

  • We do not offer discounts of any kind on corporate orders. A corporate order is an order placed by form, phone, or email that contains 5 or more boxes. Corporate orders require us to take on more inventory than we typically would, and therefore aren’t subject to receiving a discount. Thank you for understanding!

  • While we cannot be held responsible for damages, we’ll work with you on an individual basis to try and make things right. Reach out to us at hello@willinglee.co.

  • All of our products are authentic, handmade items from creatives and makers working out of small shops or their homes. Shop-small artisan goods and handmade items, by nature, have imperfections. Although we and our vendors are thorough, there will be inconsistencies based on the creative nature of our business. Each item will look a little different from the next. These natural and unique imperfections are something we’re most proud of—and you should be, too! You’re supporting a creative and their truest passion.
